JVC Newport Jazz Festival

Jazz Festival Productions, Inc. and Michael Murphy Productions hired CSP Mobile to record audio of performances from the world's longest-running jazz festival, 52 years. Louisiana Public Broadcast recorded video for HDTV broadcast on PBS and MSN webcast live select performances, currently online at http://music.msn.com/music/newportjazz.

A PBS Plus program, "Newport Jazz Festival 2006" began airing around the country in November.

Performers captured in high-definition video on three seaside stages at Newport, Rhode Island's historic Fort Adams State Park included trumpeter Chris Botti, tap-dance master Savion Glover, African songstress Angelique Kidjo, the Robert Glasper Trio, The Bad Plus and singer-songwriter Dr. John.
